Zach Osborne, Pro Motocross 250 Class – GEICO Honda
After a few years in Europe Zach is back in the U.S. for a full season in both Supercross and the Outdoors with GEICO Honda. In Supercross he raced the 250SX West where he ended up 7th in points. Now, with just four rounds remaining in the Outdoor series, Zach sits firmly 5th in points. This past weekend he went 14-3 for 6th overall at Washougal as the series heads to Millville this weekend. Zach also is part owner of ClubMX and recently been invited to race in the ISDE.
Jacob Shoemaker, AMA Pro Flat Track Racer
In 2012 Jacob finished 2nd place overall in the AMA Pro Singles Series where he recorded 13 top 10s. His best race came at the Cal Expo where he finished 3rd. He also received the Sunoco “Go the Distance” award all while working towards his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. This year he’s racing the Motorcycle Superstore.com Pro Singles class and select rounds in the GNC Expert Class, (twins). In Hagerstown he finished 2nd in the Twins class.
Mark Hyde, Ride Orange Manager – KTM USA
KTM Ride Orange provides an exciting opportunity for riders to experience firsthand the defining attributes of the KTM Ready to Race philosophy—performance, adventure, purity and extreme.
Starting in June, the KTM Ride Orange crew began the 2014 demos for motocross and the off-road lines. The Ride Orange Rig will be making stops at the Ponca Amateur National and Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National. For adventure riders there will be an opportunity to test the new 1190 in Steamboat Springs on a three-day ride from September 13 – 15.
Blake Young, MotoGP Wildcard Rider – Attack CRT Team
Unfortunately for Wildcard rider Blake Young and his fans his weekend at the Laguna Seca MotoGP was cut short when he crashed his bike on Friday and broke the frame. The crash occurred in turn 5 and was due to cold tires. Young escaped without major injury, just some bruising to his right knee. Young made his MotoGP debut with Attack Performance Racing at April’s inaugural Grand Prix of The Americas in Austin, Texas where he qualified 24th and finished 21st.
Chris Fillmore, AMA Pro Superbike Racer – KTM HMC Racing
Fillmore just picked up another 5th place finish at Laguna Seca (that makes two so far). He is currently in 7th in the overall standings and has not finished outside the top ten all season. A two-time AMA Pro Supermoto Champion, Fillmore won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series championship aboard a RMR/Bruce Rossmeyer Daytona Racing-supported Harley-Davidson XR1200.
Tim Velazquez, USA Pro Supermoto Racer
Tim started racing motocross in 1990, went to Loretta Lynn’s amateur championship in 1998 and finished 2nd in 125 C Modified and 3rd in 125 C Stock class. He turned pro in 2001 won a local series championship in 2002. He shattered his collar bone in 2007. After five surgeries over the next two years he started racing supermoto in 2010. He placed 3rd overall after only competing in three races in 2011. He won the championship in asphalt-only and 2nd in open pro in 2012 and raced the national supermoto series and finished second overall in the championship points
