Brownie has had an impressive career to put it lightly. He’s competed in Europe as well as the U.S. and won championships and races along the way including the 2001 125cc AMA Pro Motocross Outdoor Championship. He no longer races motocross full time and has transferred over to offroad racing part-time. In 2009, he won the WORCS title and has done very well in Endurocross. At this year’s X Games he won the Enduro X event gold medal at the age of 40. Now he’s competing in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship races to score enough points to keep his national number; 3.

Vicki Golden, X Games Gold Medalist – Poynt Kawasaki|
Being the only woman to ever qualify for an Arenacross Lites main event, it is no surprise she did well at 2012 X Games. For the second year in a row Vicki won the gold medal in the Womens Moto X event. She got out front early and rode a flawless race to gap the rest of the field and made her second consecutive X Games gold medal win look easy. Golden is a past Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross competitor in the Women’s class where she also had impressive finishes.

Stefan Nebel, AMA Pro Racing SuperBike – KTM/HMC Superbike Team|
A two-time (German) IDM Superbike Champion and former IDM Superstock Champion, Nebel competes in AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike Series aboard the KTM/HMC Superbike Racing RC8 R with teammate Chris Fillmore. He has raced six of the eleven races so far and is in 16th place in the standings. His best finish has been 10th place.

Tomas Puerta, AMA Pro Racing SuperSport East – Road Race Factory Red Bull Yamaha|
Tomas picked a 3rd place podium at the last round of the AMA Pro Racing Series at Barber Motorsports Park. So far this season it is his best finish and it places him in 4th overall. In 2011 he also raced in the AMA Pro SuperSport East, finishing the year third in the point standings and earning eight top 5 finishes, including a win in the first race of the year at Daytona.

This weekend the AMA Pro Racing SuperBike Series heads to Lexington, Ohio for the Buckeye SuperBike Weekend presented by Dunlop Tires. This weekend marks Round 7 of the 12 Round series. The Mid-Ohio track is a challenging one for the riders. Set in the scenic rolling hills of Lexington, Ohio the track always provides exciting racing for the fans. This year the facility is serving up back-to-back motorcycle events with the AMA Motorcycle Vintage Days the weekend after the AMA Pro Racing event on July 20 – 22.
