After a few tough years of injuries and struggling to find a good ride Matt is having his best season in his professional career. He was selected as a fill-in rider for Michael Byrne on the BTO Sports Suzuki team and showed amazing speed. This summer he is the top rider on the Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki squad racing the Canadian Outdoor Nationals and he’s won nine out of ten motos in the MX1 Class. He leads the Championship by 36 points with four races left. This weekend they race in Montreal at the Circuit de Ste- Julie.

Cory Graffunder, Pro Offroad Racer- Factory Husqvarna|
This is Cory’s fourth year racing the Husqvarna and its definitely going well. This year he’s racing the WORCS Pro 2 class and he trails point leader Ivan Ramirez by only seven points. This past weekend he finished third at Pala and they have two races remaining so his championship quest is there for him to grab. A few weeks ago he won the Bronze medal at the X Games in the Enduro X event. Also Cory leads the points in the AMA Racing West Hare Scrambles Championship Series . Cory is from Kamloops, British Columbia and resides in Murrieta, California.

Race Tech has a history of over 28 years producing high quality suspension components and tools; including their patented Gold Valves, for most types of motorcycles and ATV’s. They have riders and racers around the world using their products and services. Chris signed on as Marketing Director last year after working for Rainbow Studios as game designer for the popular video game MX vs ATV Unleashed. Currently Race Tech is doing their Midwest Tour that includes the Nielson Enterprises Lake County Fair race and the Red Bull Lorettas Lynn Amateur National.

After returning to the Attack Performance team on the Kawasaki ZX10 Steve has not dissapointed his team or fans by putting in solid rides week in and week out. This past weekend he finished fourth in both Race #1 and Race #2 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the Buckeye Superbike Weekend presented by Dunlop. Rapp sits seventh in points with plenty of racing left in the season to advance. He’s also scheduled to race the Indy MotoGP race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway next month on a CRT bike as a wildcard entry.

Jake Holden, AMA Pro Superbike Racer – Redline Motorsports|
Jake is preparing to race at Laguna Seca later this month on his Redline Motorsports Honda CBR1000. This privateer effort is being led by Redline Motorsports, one of the largest motorcycle dealers in the Northwest. The owners of Redline are a great example of business people with a passion for road racing who are willing to support talented riders. Jake has been racing professionally since 2002 and is known in the industry for his professionalism, work ethic and commitment to racing.

Maxwell Bertolero, PhD Candidate in Cognitive Neuroscience – UC Berkeley|
Maxwell, while struggling with depression, was kicked out of high school when he was barely 16. He decided to try to turn his motocross hobby into a career. When he was 19, he decided to take a class at a California community college. Five years later, he is Columbia University’s class of 2012 valedictorian, and is starting as a PhD candidate in cognitive neuroscience at UC Berkeley. He still rides motocross; he goes a little slower, but has just as much fun.
