Colin Edwards, MotoGP Racer – NGM Mobile Forward Racing
The two-time World SuperBike Champion (2000 and 2002) started racing MotoGP in 2003. Like many road racers Edwards got his start in motocross racing and was a top junior racer until he stopped in 1988. Edwards created the Texas Tornado Boot Camp in August 2010; a premier motorcycle training facility located in Montgomery, TX. In 2013 he raced Moto GP for the FTR Kawasaki where he finished 14th in points. He along with his staff at the Texas Tornado Boot Camp raced the Baja 1000 this year as well.
Danny Eslick, AMA Pro SuperBike Racer
Eslick finished the 2013 season racing for Jordan Racing in 5th place overall. He missed the final round to race in the World SuperBike race. During the season he had ten top 5 finishes. He has a number of championships to his name including the 2009 and 2011 Daytona SportBike Championships and the 2010 Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship.
Derek Gibson, Professional Artist – Gibson Art Designs
Gibson grew up racing motocross and reached a fast A-level status before he transformed his motocross passion into drawing. He’s created pieces of art around many top level riders of past and present and has reached national recognition from the motocross community. For the second year Derek’s work will be featured by the Legends and Heroes display at the Monster Energy Supercross series.
Mike McDade, Arenacross – Motosport Spinechillers Racing
McDade is starting off the 2014 Arenacross season right, picking up his first win this past weekend on Saturday night. After the first two rounds of the 2014 Arenacross Season he is 2nd place overall, two points behind the leader. At the age of 15 McDade moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to train and race on a full time basis. In 2007, he received his pro license. He won the 2012 Arenacross Lites East Championship.
Davey Coombs, President- MX Sports Pro Racing/Editor – Racer X
MX sports is the organization that operates the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing and also Red Bull AMA Amateur Motocross National Championships at Loretta Lynn’s. Davey is son to AMA Hall of Fame- Dave Coombs SR and Rita Coombs who are credited as pioneers in the organization and promotion of AMA motocross and off-road racing series. Davey has been around motocross racing his entire life and has been referenced as an encyclopedia of motocross history.
Jason Anderson,250 West Coast Supercross – Rockstar Racing KTM
Prior to this weekend’s opening round of Supercross, Jason Anderson wasn’t on some people’s radar as a championship threat. Even though he got his first win last year at Salt Lake City. That’s all changed as he came out swinging in 2014. He won his heat race and was credited with the holeshot in the main event. Cole Seely actually passed Jason however and led much of the main event. On the last lap Jason put an aggressive pass on him and took the win.
